Thank you for the post @naqiyah_mayat 🌷 ・・・ A drive out to Harteebeespoort, Magalies or Muldersdrift is almost impossible without some form of 'padkos'. For most mums, you're practically exhausted before you even embark on your road-trip. If you're a savvy traveler, you would have likely sussed out your eating route before getting into the car. For some who are open to not only exploring new places but tastes too, can enjoy a few hours at an organic farm just outside of Muldersdrift. Leafy Greens Cafe provides Vegan-friendly and Vegetarian food from the same farm which produces the produce. Pictured: Vegetarian rice paper wraps served with a chili soy sauce. Raw pizza on an onion bread base. Masala rice with a vegetable and chickpea curry. Seasonal salad. Creamy cauliflower and broccoli. #Quinoa stuffed tomato. Papaya lassi. The salad and hot food selection is extensive but I was unable to taste it all! Pricing works per size of plate selected (R145 for a large plate filled to capacity, R85 for a small plate and R50 for children). Refills are charged for, so take what you want the first time around. What I loved. The selection of food suits all palates. The curry has a mild chili flavour making it very enjoyable for those who prefer some heat. The larger tables are great for kids and larger groups. Opt to be seated outdoors if you have good weather. Kids can order from the Al a Carte menu if they're not keen on something from the buffet. (Think toasted cheese). There's a wooden jungle gym and trampoline on the property which is shared with Casalinga which kids can enjoy after their meal. There's a store on the premises so if you're keen on trying out some Vegan or Vegetarian products you can purchase it before leaving. There's desserts, smoothies and fresh juices on the menu including fruit-infused water. And once lunch is done, head on over to PWC Bike Park, 15 minutes towards William Nicol. It's a great afternoon out for kids from 2 years up to 16+. Remember to take your child's helmet with.
